FOURTEEN BILLION DOLLARS. I'm gonna say it again. FOURTEEN BILLION DOLLARS with a "B" was just signed for funding for Ukraine. Again, fourteen billion supposed to be going to Ukraine as signed our so-called "Elites". These are the same "Elites" who said we can't have universal healthcare in this country. Who said we cannot eliminate student loan debt. At least all of it, ideally. At least half. Most. No, can't do that.
We have crumbling roads. We have crumbling bridges. Our people are starving. Our people can no longer afford groceries in some places. Gasoline is becoming more and more expensive, and don't get me started on the cost of electric cars and needing to upkeep them and everything. It's for the bourgeois and the rich. Maybe that's the point.
In case anybody doesn't know by now in 2014, the United States sponsored a coup in Ukraine. You know it as the Maidan Uprising, Maidan Coup, however you want to phrase it. How ever it's been sold to you but what nobody realizes or are starting to realize now, is that the United States funded what is called the Azov Battalion. For those who don't know, the Azov Battalion is a legitimate "Nazi" organization. I say "legitimate" because that term has become very, very, very misused. It's been misused as a smear against anyone that disagrees with the narrative when in reality the same people calling you a "Nazi" working man are funding actual Nazis in Ukraine.
Point being, the Azov Battalion is a functional part of the Ukrainian Army. The majority of Ukrainian politicians are active "Nazis" or at least close to it legitimately, and again these aren't the dummies in the West or in America that are ginned up by the F.B.I. to waive around a swastika and shout shit they know nothing about. These are actual people and this is what your government is funding. You can set aside any talk about - you know - whether it should have been, apparently funding was supposed to be used for Covid relief but you can set that aside. They're not even doing that for their country. Right. I doubt they would have done any thing legitimate. But it would've been at least a minor, bare crumb, token-effort minimum.
But that's what you've come to expect with this country in recent years with the United States, right? It interferes abroad, right? And I'm gonna say this. If you understand nothing else from all of what I'm saying. If you don't understand the coup in '14, you don't understand the levels of hypocrisy it takes to fund Ukraine. A foreign country. Supposedly sovereign. Even if it isn't. Even if it's now a functional colony of the United States, which it is. Even if you want to ignore the levels of hypocrisy of a government that gives $14 Billion to a foreign country while ignoring YOU working man, YOU working woman.
Understand this. There's quite a bit of money laundering in Ukraine. Ukraine is notable for being one of the most corrupt countries in all the world actually. Outstripping what you would normally think of with corruption. But, these conflicts, these coups, these fundings, these stirring the pot moments are done for one reason and one reason only. They are done to shut down domestic dissent. Quick example. Abby Martin who is a pretty well-known journalist and has written exposes exposing a variety of people in the Military Industrial Complex. Exposing the false narrative surrounding Palestine, so on and so forth. She had run shows for eight years. Recently, YouTube took the action to delete all eight years. I'm talking going back a literal eight years, video after video after video about a slew of different topics. And YouTube wiped it out like that (snaps fingers).
Anybody who is breaking the narrative gets called all sorts of names. Gets called planting information. Gets called a Russian agent. Nazi, ironically enough. Right Winger, ironically enough. All the while, Tik Tok stars are being invited to the White House to talk about Ukraine. For those who don't know, Chomsky, before he went senile and said that you should vote for the current president, made up a term called "manufacturing consent". And, what that means is that the "Elites" and the people who profit off of war and the status quo will push for ways to have you eagerly cheer along all the while doing what they truly want, regardless. They're just bringing you on-board for the sake of when you complain they can turn around and say, "oh, you were all for it before". Reminds me of a phrase someone once said that I knew in my life. That person would cause trouble. Hurt people. Mess with people. Emotionally hurt people and then turn around and say, "I didn't do it to you. You did it to yourself". That is an apt phrase for what is going on now. For what manufacturing consent is. For what is going on in this world.
These "Elites". This Media. This rotten, hollowed out nation. And again, I say this as a Patriot. As a genuine Patriot who loves the people in this country. Who loves this country but has nothing but disgust and contempt for the people running it. They are unworthy of the name leader, of the word "Elite". They are even unworthy of the name politician. That is what you've come to expect in the past couple of years and if the past 2 years of the botched Covid response, if you want to call it that, is any indication - then it shows precisely what kind of people these are.
Given the existence of biolabs found in Ukraine with possible bat coronavirus inside, if you have any thinking braincells you can start putting quite a few of the pieces together as to why this thing happened. As to why this "pandemic" suddenly spread rapidly all over the world. I'll give you another example of how you learn that this administration, this country, these "Elites" (so on and so forth) are hypocrites, double sided, two-faced, on and on.
They act like they have no power. They act like They don't know what to do. They act incompetent almost to an absurd level, and then They let the mask slip. Then they reveal who and what They really are in certain moments, right? They come around as doddering old fools and to a large degree They are but then there's a little bit of a moment where the mask slips and you start seeing who They really are. I saw this administration and every administration before them, openly let in thousands of immigrants from Central America. We can argue certain presidents pushed for deportations and things like that but it was still thousands coming in for illegal labor. When there was a legitimate need for asylum, not a "legitimate". Let me rephrase that. When a country that this country couldn't profit off of needed asylum, the United States immediately shutdown the boarder. Immediately pushed Haitians back to Mexico, right? Same thing with the Afghan refugees. They let in lots of Afghan refugees after the botched pullout of Afghanistan. Thousands. Right?
But this country can't even feed it's own people.
And I said all that just to get at the double standard because the real reason the Central Americans were let in were for two reasons.
1) Their countries were being destabilized again and again and again. Nicaragua is a prime example. Honduras is another example, right? Both of those have had their governments destabilized for decades. Nicaragua managed to turn things around but not without a bloody feud caused by U.S. backed Contras, which Contras is literally an abbreviation of Contra Revolucionarios. Counter Revolutionaries. Then Honduras. Same thing. Coup after coup after coup. Same thing with a lot of Central Americas. And reason 2). That's reason 1), right? The destabilization of their countries.
Reason 2) Many, many businesses. Many, many bourgeois. People. Scum. Whatever you want to call them. Profit off of illegal labor. Profit off exploitation of the Global South. Third World, however you want to term it. Many people in this country profit off of destabilization. Profit off of status quo where there is a small, "Elite" rich and the majority of people are poor. These people profit off of it and if you don't understand how and why someone could profit off of -you know- a wide gap between the rich and the poor, I ask you to look at the medical system in this country. If you are poor, not only are you over-charged and double charged, you're treated like dirt. If you are rich, you get bleeding edge treatments. Cutting edge treatments. Treatments that the regular person doesn't have access to. And you wanna talk about that.
Going back to the Haitians. The Haitians wouldn't be a subject to illegal labor conditions and horrifying labor conditions as the other Central Americans coming in. Now again, this may sound very insensitive to people who don't know me but my point is this country profits and has profited off of illegal labor, right? I think that was the thing that opened my eyes. Recognition that this government, this country purposefully destabilized countries and then brought in thousands of people from that destabilized country to be their indentured servants. We could even say - being their slaves. That's where we are except what nobody talks about is that this is class war. We can easily frame it as a racial thing. A race war and by all means the "Elites" would love that.
But the real race war if you will, the real racial conflict is that the rich see themselves as a distinct and separate race from the rest of you and me. The rich and the "Elites" see you and I as "useless eaters" who need to be culled. Why do you think there's GMO's in the food? Why do you think there's lead in the water and it's never been treated? Why do you think Flint, Michigan doesn't have clean drinking water? Why do you think that certain goods, and foods and snacks are sold in inner city communities and poorer communities? Right? And They'll always frame that as a racial narrative. They'll say "oh, it's poor communities and communities of color" and repeat that almost on loop almost to constantly tie your brain to the idea that "only communities of color can be poor". But that is a complete filthy lie if you did any research.
Point being, your eyes should be open more and more to what this country is doing. Right? 14 Billion dollars in Ukraine is just the icing on the cake. Once you start pulling threads, a lot of pieces start fitting together.
As a wise Russian once said, "What is to be done?" Vladimir Lenin. I suggest you read him. It's oddly appropriate to today's times. Let me know if you want book recommendations.
