Disney’s Cannibalism Film Premiering at Sundance

Renegade Tribune/Author - Kyle/January 24, 2022

Disney likes for its brand to be seen as family-friendly entertainment, which it most certainly is not. Since the company owns so much of the entertainment industry, we often do not even realize that certain movies are actually Disney products, because they do not slap the famous Disney intro at the beginning of the credits, instead using the name of the subsidiary that produced it. This is strategically done, in order to distance themselves from some of the more “distasteful” titles they release.

Disney would likely prefer not to have its name associated with Fresh, a movie released by Searchlight about a man who picks up women and then devours them.

From ShowBiz411:

You will want to become a vegetarian after watching “Fresh.” Or should I say, “Flesh.” This is a horror movie that is pretty disgusting, not terribly clever, but one that Disney- yes, Disney– will release this year. Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, Mimi Cave’s “Fresh” is a movie about cannibalism. Yes, cannibalism, the eating of people. Yes, Disney. It’s not a parody or a satire like “Get Out.” It’s a straight up horror film about a charming doctor, played by Sebastian Stan, who seduces women, kidnaps them, and carves out pieces of them for sale to high paying customers. Eventually, they’re all carved up and dead. Written by Lauryn Kahn, I guess “Fresh” is supposed to be hip. It’s way too hip for me, that’s for sure. (Hip may be on Dr. Steve’s menu.) Disney will release it not on DisneyPlus but on Hulu, and try and distance their brand name. But it’s Disney, folks, nonetheless.

Back in 2017 people were a little confused when Disney suggested to people that eating their family would be a tasty idea, but it was just a misunderstanding, right?

A great meal tastes even greater when you throw in one secret ingredient: your family. #FamiliaFirstpic.twitter.com/xoc2tnEQOT — Walt Disney World (@WaltDisneyWorld) September 15, 2017

The tweet was deleted, but it caused a bit of a stir at the time. It’s hard to think this was just an accident, and was likely a perverse, sick joke.

There is obviously a sinister agenda behind this push to normalize cannibalism in the minds of the masses. I actually did a whole show about the topic back in 2018.

As for Disney in particular, I would suggest people keep their families away from their media, and also away from Orlando and its associated theme parks. Orlando ranks #6 in the U.S. for human trafficking, and 102 people were arrested last year for human trafficking, which is just the tip of the iceberg.
